Dr. Daniel Atuah Obeng has a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi, Ghana in 2011, after graduating from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK in 1994 with a master’s degree in Transportation Engineering. He also holds a B.Sc degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana and is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE) with wide experience in traffic surveys, road feature inventory and condition surveys, transport modelling and forecasting, and economic analysis of road-transport infrastructural development projects.
He has over twenty-five (25) years’ professional experience in the road-transport sector particularly in Ghana and in the West Africa sub-region, and his competences include: traffic surveys in the ports, road and railway sectors; demand analysis and preparing forecasts and modeling and developing project economic analyses with inputs on project costs; PPP transaction advisory services/development of large infrastructure projects.He is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers. He is currently Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
